![]() I The Game In Nomine: Symphony & Silence MUSH is here to provide an environment where those who like the Steve Jackson Games RPG, In Nomine, can enjoy themselves and roleplay within the environment designed in the game. At any time, we will be running Story Arcs to further progress the game in many different ways. We strive to come up with creative and interesting plots for all to enjoy. Any players are welcome to submit plot or Story Arc ideas for use by the MUSH. The point to In Nomine: Symphony & Silence is player interaction to drive a story so that everyone can have fun. Now, this also means that at times, players will need to give as well as receive both positive and negative changes to the in character world and how it affects them. Everything will not go your way 100% of the time -- at times things can go bad for your character. But during those times, remember, so too turns the wheels of a plot, that everyone will have fun. Being immersed in the plot allows everyone to drive it forward, good or bad. In Nomine: Symphony & Silence is a consensual based roleplay environment. While your character could be put in harm's way or potentially killed, we shall always strive to help players achieve a friendly and cooperative environment where all can have fun. Canon-wise, we haven't followed any of Revelations just yet, though there are plots planned to lead us through those events. We're picking up in the modern day, 2004/2005, with the events of the core book happening just as we open. Anything from the books will more than likely happen. In Nomine: Symphony & Silence is a medium to high contrast game. Angels are angels, demons are demons; to state it bluntly. This doesn't mean angels are sweet and nice, Angels should be all true to what is displayed of them in the In Nomine Core Book. Demons are likewise not always outright nasty and evil, some of them can easily pass for the nice guy next door, within reason. There are shades of grey to the game, and given our starting setting in Austin, some Angels and Demons may be friends with each other. But when it comes down to it, each side is in it to win it for their side. So, while we're toward the medium to high range, we expect characters across the entire spectrum with more in the range stated than anything else. Previous: Index |
