   VII The Plot

In Nomine: Symphony & Silence MUSH is not going to be your normal Tiny Plot or Campaign driven game. We're going to be running a mix of both called Story Arcs. A Story Arc is more of a free-form design than either a Campaign or Tiny Plot, both of which usually have more of a defined line of events that allow for little deviation. With Story Arcs we aim to achieve a completely player-driven plot line that allows for any possibility to come about.

With a Story Arc, you can have a central character to the plot, say the Mayor of Austin, killed before he can achieve whatever the character was aiming for in the plot. This death would cause a spiraling of other actions not necessarily on the original path of the Story Arc, but unique in it's own way and again, completely driven by you, the players.

Every action you take, can have a small or large reaction within a plot. That one statement embodies what we want to achieve on the game. Everything a player does can cause so many other actions or reactions out of their fellow players and take the plot into a whole new direction.

Suggesting or writing things for a Story Arc are also possible. We encourage all players to contact the staff with ideas they have for plots. We may work them into existing plots or have them stand on their own as their own Story Arcs, but everyone's input is not only appreciated but sought after.
