![]() This is a Steve Jackson Games™ In Nomine® licensed MUSH. While we may initially remain similar to the published books, we would like to make our players aware that we expect our storyline to deviate and In Nomine: Symphony & Silence MUSH is licensed to be non-canonical. Any player under seventeen years of age will have the UNDERAGE flag added to their characters' +fingers, which will be visible to all players on the MUSH. Potential players that are sixteen or younger must make their parents aware that they intend to play on the game. If your parents have any questions or concerns, they are welcome to contact the staff at disclaimer@ innominemush.com (make sure to remove the space after the @ before sending). The Internet is labelled as corrupting children, so we're trying to prevent that from being true in this small portion of the 'Net. In Nomine: Symphony & Silence MUSH is adult-themed. This does not mean that we approve of tiny sex (TS, a text-based form of sexual intercourse) be it in public (eg. a downtown club in Austin) or private (eg. a personal apartment) areas. There is the possibility of minor actions such as a kiss on the lips but nothing quite as flamboyant as fondling a Lilim's breasts to the amusement of one's fellow Celestials. In all cases where the activity passes the point of decency, the use of 'fade to black' should be used. There is zero tolerance for anyone caught TSing on the MUSH. You will be booted and sitebanned if you are found guilty of this act. Coarse language ('swearing') will be permitted within reasonable amounts. If your demon character just encountered a Malakim of War with a sworn Blood Oath against him or her, 'oh shit!' is understandable. If it's a group of Malakim, well, something stronger is very understanable considering your demon is unlikely to survive the experience. What we do mind is when somebody is cursing with every second word. In-character or not, the point of swearing is to make an impact. The more you use it, the less of an effect it has. Capice? Any Out-Of-Character (OOC) conversation that begins to delve into sexual content or coarse language on any of the MUSH's channels should be moved to NC-17. If a staff member asks you to move the conversation, please do so without sniping back at them. We are not trying to be "party poopers". We are trying to maintain the rules of the game that you agreed to when you joined the MUSH. Please respect that. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact one of the staff via in-game @mail or page. |
