XP
This is a listing of ways to earn extra XP/character points (CP). If you have any questions regarding any portion of The Plan, please contact one of the staff members (+admin).
Log Submission
If you are in a log and actively participating (OOC watching does not count), you will receive 0.5 XP for each appearance. If you are also the first one to submit a log, you get a 0.5 XP bonus. If, for example, at the end of the month you've submitted 2 logs (equivalent to 1.0 bonus XP) and participated in 3 logged scenes (equivalent to 1.5 XP) for a total of 2.5 XP, we'll round it up to 3 XP during distribution. XP for logs is handed out at the end of the month. (See +help +logs)
MU* Ads
0.5 XP for any ad you post on another MU*. Do not abuse this though and just flood games you're not on. :) We'll want the address of the game to confirm the ad and add it to our MU* List tracker. No MU* should have more than 1 ad posted every 4 months. Always offer to do a return ad on our game on the ElseMU* Board (bboard 10). Referral XP
Now here's the good one for everyone. 1 XP for every person you bring here who successfully completes chargen (have them put your INSS name in the 'hear' field of the questionnaire) and either submits or is involved in at least 2 RP logs. If after three months they're involved in even more logs and still around, we'll give out an XP bonus to you for bringing them here. ** The bonus is yet to be determined, as it will be based on how popular this program becomes. **
XP Spending
You can spend XP at anytime now. However, you must RP it happening, or a reason for it being given to your character. You can spend all of your XP and not get everything for a few weeks or months depending on you getting it all setup ICly. We'll have a board to track approved changes to characters, so that you can apply and RP it out down the line and just page us that you've submitted the log for the change. Everything you spend must have an IC reason for you getting the 'upgrade'. To use your XP, type +xprequest <List & Reasons>. This command will post a message to the staff boards for us to track what you've applied for. Feel free to use new line (%r) and tabs (%t) in the request to make it easier for us to read.
